I live in Lafayette, CA and regularly travel to the following towns:  Danville, San Ramon, Pleasanton, Dublin, Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill, Alamo, Lafayette, Concord, Orinda, and Moraga.  Travel to other areas including Livermore, Castro Valley, Oakland, Berkeley, Clayton and Sunol may be arranged upon request.

Puppy Classes:  I offer six-week group sessions for puppies 15 weeks-6 months old.  We will cover the following in class: sit, down, stay, come, heel, loose leash walking, leave it, watch, wait (at doorways), off (no jumping), socializing, basic manners including housetraining and chewing, fetch, and distance commands.  These are structured classes with lesson plans and written homework.  Class is limited to seven puppies, so that each puppy and family get individual attention every week.   All Puppy, Intermediate and Advanced Classes are held in a large (850 sq ft) room at the Danville Women's Club, located right off 680 at 242 W Linda Mesa Ave in Danville, CA.

Intermediate and Advanced Classes:  I also offer six-week intermediate level courses for those who have graduated from the puppy class or who would like more advanced training.  These classes emphasize proofing basic commands such as come and stay, so that your dog can be reliable in real-life, distracting situations.  I also teach new skills and, when students are interested, lay foundation work for those who want to get their dogs' CGC (Canine Good Citizen certificate) or start in Rally.  The Advanced Class is open to graduates of the Intermediate class and includes skills such as off-leash heeling and recalls, out-of-sight group stays, and foundation work for AKC Rally and AKC Obedience.

Drop-in Classes:  I offer three different types of drop-in classes on weekends.   The Reactive Dog class is a very special and unique class that focuses on helping dogs who are fearful, reactive or aggressive towards other dogs or people, and teaching owners how to be in control of their dogs.   THIS CLASS IS BY APPROVAL ONLY; PLEASE CALL ME IF YOU ARE INTERESTED.  I also have a drop-in Rally class, where I set up a full advanced or excellent-level AKC Rally course, and seasonally I offer a drop-in AKC obedience class, where I teach Novice and Open level exercises.  For more information on these classes, please call my office.  DROP-IN CLASSES ARE NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AND ALL DOGS ATTENDING MUST RECEIVE PRIOR APPROVAL BY ME.
